Late entrant RM642 ran a single journey from
Putney Bridge Station before rounders on the 93 and 164, but
unfortunately suffered a puncture at Putney Heath in the
afternoon and was forced to retire.

And I can't resist adding below Alan Cross's
picture of STL2600 at the same spot about 60 years ago.

RT3871 recreated the elusive 93 Express,
although the slipboard supplied didn't make it into position.
As it pulls away from Morden for a non-stop run, RLH48 on the 127
takes its place at the stop.

Epsom is the proper terminus for the 93;
RTW467 and RM1397 oblige. The Enviro 400 on the 418
should really be a green RT and have started at Bookham...

RT variety. Early post-war RT3-type
RT190, standard RT8 RT3148 and wartime RT2 RT113 ready themselves
for action.

The 93's partner between Epsom and Morden,
route 164 takes the less direct route, perhaps more suited to a
Country RT on loan. RT3148 runs through St Helier.

London General at Merton and Sutton Garages
were wonderfully supportive in permitting our buses to turn
and rest in their busy work places. We salute them.
Here, RT2043 emerges from a break at Merton.
